Scandic was founded in 1963 and has since then been a pioneer and driving force within the hotel industry.

Today, Scandic is the market leader as the largest Nordic hotel operator with a network of approximately 280 hotels with 55,000 rooms in six countries.

Although Scandic employs thousands of people, they constantly try to live up to the values that formed the foundations of the business. Hence, BrandSurface was asked to help communicate Scandic’s values in a so-called “Culture Profile” – a 160-page book describing their core values, daily work, relationships, and social and environmental responsibility.  

The same year, Scandic won the award for “Danmarks Bedste Arbejdsplads 2017” (Denmark’s Best Workplace 2017).
