CASE: Stromma - Digital Signage in Copenhagen's Busiest Tourist Flow

Stromma Denmark – one of the leading providers of sightseeing, canal tours and Hop On-Hop Off buses in Copenhagen.
The challenge
- Digital signage with simple and clear communication – in the middle of Copenhagen’s perhaps busiest tourist flow.
When thousands of people move through Nyhavn and Ved Stranden every single day, the demands on communication are tough:
- Messages need to be crisp
- The communication should be simple
- Content must be able to decoded in seconds
Stromma therefore wanted a coherent visual solutionthat could:
- Create instant eye-catchers
- Clearly communicate the different sightseeing experiences
- Ensure a consistent, graphically strong and brand-faithful universe
Motion Graphics for digital signage

We created a motion graphic system where movement is actively used to communicate:
- Guide the eye towards the most important messages
- Visualize the difference between bus, boat and combi tickets
- Present information quickly and intuitively
- Create dynamism in an otherwise visually noisy environment
